RECREATION MINISTRY DIRECTOR
(20 hours/week)
Fremont seeks a part-time Recreation Director to develop and lead a growing ministry area. Responsibilities include directing and coordinating organized recreational and adventure sports activities; organizing and facilitating sports leagues and camps for children, youth and adults; recruiting volunteers who have passion, maturity, character and faith to serve in various roles in a variety of programs; processing detail information such as registration data and financial data, and promoting and publicizing the ministry and programs to the church and the community. Requires a strong commitment to Christ, passion for developing relationships, commitment to high quality programs, basic knowledge of various sports and ability to work well with both children and adults. Must possess the ability to recruit volunteers, ability work independently, and flexibility. Experience in recreation leadership is a plus. DIRECTOR OF FREMONT NURSERY SCHOOL
(25 hours/week - 46 weeks/year)
Fremont is currently seeking a person who has a love for pre-school children and the education and experience in early childhood education to direct its highly regarded state-licensed nursery school. The Director provides administrative and visionary leadership to insure the highest quality and age-appropriate educational experience for pre-school children and their families, consistent with the goals and mission of the church. Qualified candidates will possess a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, including the minimum educational requirements identified by the State Dept. of Social Services, five years of teaching and/or school leadership experience, specific relational and leadership skills, strong Christian faith, and active involvement in a Christian church, among other qualifications.
