In the past three generations, sexual
freedom has been peddled to our world as a vital ingredient of happiness
and fulfillment. A product of that "no boundaries" philosophy are the 5.5
million websites dedicated to pornographic images, portraying that which is now
common and that which is now utterly inconceivable. Implied is the notion
that when we exercise our right to do what we please and feast on this fare, no
one gets hurt, there is no ill effect upon our lives.
The reality though, is that these
attitudes have tainted many men's core values and adversely affected his
behaviors toward his most important relationships. Sex has morphed
into a casually transmitted illusion of intimacy. Sexual
brokenness is nothing new, but in this current age, it has reached
pandemic proportions. For millions of men, preoccupation
with sex has created an appetite that cannot be quenched.
Betrayal, anger, abuse, financial chaos, divorce and neglected children
become his legacy.
We are here to offer hope to those
who have found only despair in these so-called freedoms. Through
AVENUE support, a woman rediscovers her worth. Marriages and
families are restored. Children get their Daddy back. AVENUE
is helping men find real freedom through sexual integrity. In
doing so, men restore their lives, their dignity, their very destiny.
