Health Ministry

We provide monthly blood pressure screenings, periodic health fairs, regular articles about health issues in the church newsletter, educational classes on a variety of health topics, encouragement for caregivers, and support groups as needed. A parish nurse makes caring phone calls, home and hospital visits, and provides information about community health resources.

 

Tai Chi Class
Do you need better balance? Gentle Tai Chi exercise is proven to improve balance along with other health benefits.  Fremont’s Tai Chi class meets every Monday, 9:30 – 10:30, in Ferguson Hall.  Cost is only $5.00 per class.  Contact Sue Mooney, 452-7132, for information, or join us on any Monday morning. Beginners are welcome!
