• Stop by the Cover-2-Cover Bookstore in the Community Life Center and purchase either 3 bibles for $10 or one bible for $4 and donate them to our Bible stock to be given to those who want or need them.
   
• You can even request that the Bibles that you purchase be labeled on the inside cover in memory or honor of someone special...a loved one, perhaps.

Fremont Greeters
Do you like talking and getting to know people?  Welcome people to Fremont and ensure that the time they spend in the hallway and in the pews is interesting and interactive!

• Help them with their nametags, as necessary
   

• Give a helping hand with other volunteers from TeamOutreach

• Help to set up the welcome center
   

• Encourage visitors to sign the visitor / newcomer book
   

• Provide visitors with complimentary gift / welcome kit
   

• Help visitors connect with people, programs and groups that fit their wants and needs
   

• Answer questions; help them get “plugged” into the Fremont Family
   

• Direct or escort them to “coffee” after worship services

Grapevine Insert Mailer Stuffers
Do you like helping out to make a difference in the lives of the entire congregation? Here's a great way to do just that!

• Stuff outreach materials in the Grapevine Newsletter for Christmas
   

• Provide support for other special events by stuffing materials for events throughout the year
   

• Call or visit new people after church during the week following their first Sunday attendence
   
• provide gift if they didn’t stop by Welcome Center
   
• Prepare map(s) for visits, as needed. OR, call visitors to thank them for attending; provide information as needed

Sign Makers / Graphic-Print Artists and Editors
Are you the type of person who likes organizing and designing signs and other types of advertising?

• Make or edit signs, advertisements and mailers by hand or by using computer software for various events and meetings
   

• Arrange for event signs and banners to be altered for major events and request that they be hung on side of Sanctuary and other key locations (e.g., Glorious Sounds of Christmas, Easter, Kirkin', etc.)

Welcome/Newcomer Kit Creators
Do you enjoy helping people find the right group?  Help them make the connection.

• Use your creativity to put welcome kits together for visitors and newcomers
   

• Review Friendship Pads and select brochures based on requests
   

• Coordinate mailing of requested brochures, newcomer newsletter/events schedule, and letter from pastor

• Update schedules and information in a simple Excel spreadsheet  
   
• Coordinate mailing of Outreach materials
   
• Make reminder phone calls to other volunteers for events they are scheduled for

• Help coordinate and/or write ads, announcements, and press releases for newspapers, periodicals, community calendars, internet, etc.

Weekly Messaging Editor
Do you like writing, doing ad copy or announcements?

• Compose announcements and submit to Publications Coordinator and Executive Minister for approval and publication in the weekly bulletin and Grapevine newsletter each month

Outreach Event Set-up Volunteers/Administrators

• Help set up for ongoing and special events each month

Outreach Email Campaign Administrators
Do you like combining your administrative talents with technology?

• Update email addresses so email campaigns are more effective
   

• Help coordinate email campaigns for special events (e.g. Kirkin' O' Th' Tartan)
   

• Use your creativity to help compose email "blast" messages

Outreach Statistics Administrators
Do you like working with numbers and stats? Try working with these numbers:

• Gather and compile statistics for Outreach reporting
   

• Quarterly attendance, number of new members, visitors, surveys, etc.

Outreach Photographers
Do you like using your creativity to take photos of people or events?

• Take web-ready photos for key events throughout year
   

• Help archive digital image/photos online.

Outreach Phone-Bank Administrators
Are you an administrator and enjoy talking with people over the phone?

• Call Welcome Center volunteers on Thursdays to remind them of their volunteer time for Sunday worship services
   

• Sign-up people for events, inform people and/or invite them to upcoming events (e.g., Cornerstone New Members class); event promotion
   

• Call people or other volunteers to help out at the Welcome Centers during major events (e.g., Kirkin, Easter, Christmas, etc.)
