Fremont Session passes response to the 218th General Assembly

Fremont Nursery School

The growth, well-being, and development of young children are primary concerns of Fremont Church. Fremont gave voice to this priority by establishing a nursery school in 1968. It is a state licensed, non-sectarian school for children between the ages of 3 and 5 years old. Parents may select from three program schedules:

• Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning classes
   
• Tuesday and Thursday morning classes
   
• Monday - Friday Transitional Kindergarten classes

A full-time director and 11 teachers, all who have Early Childhood Education (ECE) units, staff the school. The school is self-supporting through tuition and scholarships are available for each school year.

The goal of Fremont Nursery School is to have each child feel good about herself or himself; to feel comfortable with their peer group, and to have daily opportunities for learning and creative expression.
