Fremont Family Connection Fremont Family Connection's purpose is to relate with every church member to communicate and sustain a sense of belonging to Fremont as a "family” of Christ. The scriptural foundation for the ministry is found in Romans 12:4-5: "For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are all one body in Christ, and individually members of one another."
The ministry's purpose is
accomplished through quarterly telephone calls or contacts to each of
Fremont's member households. The Family Connectors convey light touches of
the love and care of Jesus Christ through their contacts, and are the eyes
and ears of the pastors as to the needs and joys of each member family. No
one stands alone, as each is an essential member of the Fremont family. The
Family Connectors refer to church ministries and church resources as
appropriate.
