At Fremont we take the safety of children seriously! Our childcare providers and teachers have been fingerprinted, and they receive safety instruction as well as developmental and program training.

Nursery - In the Nursery children are hugged, rocked, sung to, engaged in age appropriate play, given a snack and ultimately loved! Childcare in the Nursery is provided during the 9 & 11 am worship services.

Preschool - Preschool classes are designed for children aged 2 - 5 years. Care is given to the development of interactive, age appropriate Bible lessons. Children and their teachers hear a Bible story, and then engage in activities that reinforce the story in a relevant way to the life of the child. Classes for preschoolers are offered at 9, 10 & 11 am. When parents pick up their children they must initial a sign-out sheet

Elementary - 9 & 11 am
Kids Worship provides children with an opportunity to be a part of the larger worshipping community of Fremont, and to have the worship of God modeled for them. Kids begin each worship service with their family and are dismissed at a later time in the service. Kids meet together for a “kid-friendly” time of Bible lessons and prayer. Kids are able to interact with the Scripture lesson through activities such as discussions, games, dance, watching a DVD, role-playing, and interacting with each other while learning about Christ. To insure the safety of the children, parents must pick up their children following the worship service and initial a sign-out sheet. Children have a wonderful time with our loving church teachers!

Sunday School - 10 am
During this hour, basic doctrines of Christianity and Bible instruction take place. Children will learn the Lord’s Prayer, books of the Bible, learn about people God puts in our lives along our faith journey and how to apply Biblical truth in their everyday lives. Parents are also required to pick up their children at the end of Sunday School and initial a sign-out sheet. Classes are available for 2 years - 5th grade.

Tuesday Nights Together at Fremont! Tuesdays are filled with love, laughter, and lots of fun!

Join us during September through May and learn how God is working all around us!

Beginning in the afternoon, there are music opportunities for children ages 3yrs.-11yrs. At 5:30, join us for dinner (for a small donation) with our extended Fremont community. At 6:15, the children are dismissed for a night full of fun, laughter, and learning. In the Nursery, we have caregivers who play with the babies (0-2 yr). FaithWeaver Friends is a fast-paced program, geared to 3 year olds to 5th grade, designed to teach, challenge and encourage kids to weave their faith in Christ in their everyday lives.  Throughout the program, the children experience singing, dancing, journaling, art projects, and games. It’s a  fun way for kids to learn together and an excellent time to bring a friend or neighbor!

During the year there are  special events we'd like to invite you to for you and your children. 

April 3 - Easter Egg Hunt - A community tradition, the Fremont Easter Egg Hunt is a great time for families and friends to mingle while enjoying the kids’ crafts, refreshments, the Easter Story and the Easter egg hunt!

June 21 - 25 - Music Camp - Always a “sold out event,” Music Camp gives kids 2nd- 6th grade an opportunity to study an instrument, dance, sing or create sets. The week culminates with an all-camp performance on Friday evening!

July 12 - 16 - Vacation Bible School - This year’s theme, High Seas Expedition, will give kids the chance to eplore the Bible and learn about Jesus as they move through lively, creative stations.

October 31 - Trunk or Treat - This is a fun and safe alternative event on Halloween. Wear costumes, join the fun games and trick or treat around to the trunks in the parking lot! Once you come once, you'll come back the next year- it is that fun! 

November 16 - Advent Workshop - An event for kids and parents, there will be simple, age appropriate Christmas crafts to make for family or friends.
