The goal of Fremont’s Health Ministry is to assist church members and the community to achieve and maintain optimum health. Based on our belief that we are whole beings - physical, mental/emotional, social and spiritual - we provide opportunities for education, encourage self responsibility, offer emotional and spiritual support, and information about resources in the community.
Our Health Ministry Team includes two specially trained Faith Community (Parish) Nurses who make caring phone calls, home and hospital visits, provide information about congregational and community health resources, personal health consultation, spiritual counseling, and develop health education programs.
