Mexico 2019

Fremont is sending a team of high school short term missionaries and their leaders to Mexico to be the tangible hands and feet of Christ. By going to Mexico we will be answering God’s call of the Great Commission. You can be a factor in the Great Commission by partnering with us to help make this trip possible. By supporting the mission trip you will be going without actually attending the trip. Here are some ways that you can contribute:

  1. Please pray for the team. Mission begins and ends with prayer and it is the foundation of ministry and our walk with Christ. We would like to have every minute of every day covered in prayer, so pray with us and for us.

  2. You can donate medicines and bless someone in Mexico. We will be providing medical and vision clinics. Medication is very expensive in Mexico, if even available. We would be grateful for any donations of unopened, unexpired medications. If you buy medicine, please get the largest quantity/bottle. But, we appreciate any size or quantity. Whatever you give may help an entire family. Medication donations must be received by Sunday, April 8th and can be brought to the Church Office or placed in the bins in the lobby. See listed of medicines below:

    • Tums (or store brand)

    • Omeprazole (Prilosec)

    • Ranitidine (Zantac)

    • Prenatal Vitamins

    • Kids’ Gummy Vitamins

    • Adult Vitamins

    • Cetirizine (Zyrtec)

    • Fexofenadine (Allegra)

    • Hydrocortizone cream

    • Ibuprofen (adult)

    • Guaifenesin syrup (adult or kids)

    • Iron tablets (adult)

    • Iron gummies for kids

    • Dimetapp Cold and Cough

If you have any other questions about the trip contact Steve Bailey at (916) 452-7132 x 258 or steve@fremontpres.org.

Commitment Sunday

9:00 AM09:00

Commitment Sunday

On November 18th, we will finish our Stewardship emphasis with Commitment Sunday. At all of our services, we will take a moment in the service to ask individuals and families to come forward and put their commitment for 2019 in a basket.

GROW. GIVE. GO.

With your giving and your commitment to give, we can better anticipate how God might be calling us to Grow. We want to grow in our ability to make life-long followers of Jesus. Your giving also enables us to Give. Give care to those in our midst who are hurting. Give support to long-standing ministry partners. Finally, your giving and your promise to give enables us to Go. We know that God is not finished with us yet. There are places He has called us to Go to bring good news.

PARENT INFORMATION

  • Modern Service: Children will be joining their parents on Commitment Sunday for the first part of the service.  Begin by checking your children into Kids Check then proceed directly to church in the CLC WITH your children.  After the commitment portion of the service, K-5th grade children will be dismissed and escorted back to their children’s program by our staff/volunteers.  Parents must escort pre-school children to class if they have participated in the commitment time.

  • Classic Service: Commitment time will occur at the end of the service.  Begin by checking your children into Kids Check then you may either have your children attend the entire service with you OR you may drop them off in their Sunday School class and return to get them, when directed, to participate in the commitment time at the end of service.

You can respond by returning your completed commitment card to the church office, to Commitment Sunday on November 18th or by indicating your commitment online at www.fremontpres.org/give/.
