It is the goal of Women’s Ministry that each and every woman becomes involved and actively participates in a Bible Study for the purpose of deepening their faith and understanding of God’s holy word and to mature in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Meets every Tuesday morning during the school year at the church from 9:30-11. Its purpose is to support mothers of children of all ages, offering an opportunity to grow spiritually through Bible study and prayer, in an atmosphere of trust and confidentiality. Childcare is provided.

A Bible study geared to college and young career women with a desire to build community through Bible study, prayer and fellowship. Two separate groups meet Thursday evenings, one in midtown Sacramento and one at the church.

Women from the greater Sacramento area meet weekly for Bible study, lectures and small group discussion. Groups start in the fall and continue throughout the school year. There is also an opportunity for school children, in 1st through 12th grades, to study the same material as their moms, grandmothers, sisters, aunts and friends.
Classes meet weekly beginning in September and ending in May. They are held at Fremont every Monday evening from 6:55 – 8:45 PM. Introduction night for newcomers is the first Monday of each month. Classes are also offered for children in grades 1-12.

This is a more intense women’s Bible study that begins in September and ends in May. It meets at First Covenant Church (highway 50, Zinfandel exit), every Wednesday from 9 - 11:30 am. Classes are offered for children in grades 1-8, while childcare is provided for infants and younger children.

Moms of all seasons of life are welcome. Childcare is provided with a children’s program. This group meets for two sessions, one in the fall and one in the spring, on Monday mornings from 9:15-11:15, in Geneva room at the church. The Prayer Chain is composed of three groups of ten members who are available to pray for you and your loved ones. All prayers and information relating to prayer requests is kept confidential, unless the prayer request is asking for prayer support from the entire church. Contact: Co Winterhalder
The Prayer Ministry at Fremont is composed of many members, both men and women, who are dedicated to meet once a month and pray over requests and concerns, encourage one another in prayer, and organize special church-wide prayer times. Contact: Kathy Chance
This group of women has developed a close community of friends and the opportunity to support each other and the church, when they meet to study the Bible and to pray, every Wednesday at 6:30 AM for breakfast at the church.

The purpose of FPW is to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study, to support the mission of the church worldwide, to work for justice and peace, and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (USA) and witnesses to the promise of God’s Kingdom. Participants share a commitment to study God’s word, encourage and support each other, prayer for each other and provide a loving place in which to grow as a Christian.
