A Fun, Faith-Friendly Sports Experience for Kids

For nearly two decades, Fremont Presbyterian Church has partnered with Upward Sports to bring a Christ-centered basketball program to families in our community. Each season, hundreds of children learn not only the fundamentals of the game, but also the values of teamwork, integrity, and faith that last far beyond the court.

Upward Sports is a nationwide ministry that equips churches to use the power of sports to share the gospel and build community. Each program is designed to develop the whole athlete — mind, body, spirit, and character — through fun competition, positive coaching, and an encouraging environment where every child feels valued.

• Weekly practices and games held in Fremont’s Community Life Center Gym

• Devotions and team huddles that teach biblical lessons and good sportsmanship

• Equal play time and balanced competition — every child gets to learn and contribute

Who Can Join

Upward Basketball at Fremont is open to boys and girls in elementary and middle school. Players of all experience levels are welcome — whether it’s their first time picking up a ball or they’ve played for years, every child has a place here.
