College Small Groups

Join us for our weekly SMALL GROUPS:

Both fall and spring semesters we have Bible study small groups that meet for roughly 10 weeks, ending before finals week (per Sac State’s academic calendar). Each week, a group of students gather at a home or in the College Ministry Room at Fremont to study a book of the Bible, discuss what the passage teaches, meditate on the Word, and enjoy communion with God through prayer. We view these nights as having incredible value for our discipleship to Jesus, our knowledge of God through the Word and prayer, and our building up of the brothers and sisters in our small group.

Where and when do small groups meet?

Monday night small group: 6:00-8:00 pm at a home in East Sacramento, a roughly 5-10 minute drive from Sac State.

Tuesday night small group6:30-8:30 pm in the College Ministry Room at Fremont, a roughly 10 minute walk from the Sac State dorms, 30 minute walk from Hornet Commons.

There will almost certainly be someone in the group who can give you a ride if you need one.

What should I bring?

We encourage everyone to bring a Bible, notebook, and pen to small group.

How can I get signed up for a small group?

Please email Katie Haven, the College Ministry staff leader, with your name and which small group you’d like to get involved with (khaven@fremontpres.org). Katie will connect you with the small group leader.
