Fremont Women’s Ministry

Women of Fremont mark your calendars for the second Thursday of the month for a time to come and connect with the Holy Spirit through worship and hear from God through Bible teaching led by Megan Fera. There is unity in seeking Christ together and in sisterhood within the family of faith. Come and be enlightened by pressing into what God has for the women at Fremont in 2024.

The women of Fremont Presbyterian Church are committed to falling more and more in love with Jesus. Here we describe some of the opportunities for joining us in the journey of discipleship.

Bible Study Groups We are a community of co-learners actively seeking to know and apply God's word. Several opportunities for group study are currently being planned or join one of our ongoing classes that are always ready to welcome new members.

  • WOMEN AT THE WELL—This group meets on Sunday evenings from 6:30 - 8:30 pm on Zoom. We are currently studying through the New Testament. New members are always welcome. For more information contact Dale Aust at dale.aust.qhg1@statefarm.com.

  • BIBLE STUDY FELLOWSHIP—Mondays from 6:45 pm - 8:15 pm in Ferguson Hall starting September 11th through May 6th. To join this group, sign up at Bible Study Fellowship (bsfinternational.org).

  • TUSEDAY BIBLE STUDY— This group meets Tuesdays at noon in the Community Life Center Living Room. The study is on the book of Galatians and in late Spring the study will be on Ruth. OTHER GROUPS:

  • LECTIO DIVINA—An online time of silence, Scripture and prayer. Meets Saturday mornings from 8:30 am via Zoom. Contact adele_ ohs@yahoo.com

MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) is a community aimed at offering support, encouragement, care, and tools to assist moms in this incredibly busy and sometimes isolating season of life. MOPS meets on the 1st & 3rd Thursdays from 7-9pm at Fremont. If you'd like more information about MOPS or would like to join, contact fremontmopsinsac@gmail.com.

Service Opportunities One of the best ways to get connected and make new friends is to volunteer. We currently have several opportunities for women to serve in short-term commitments suitable for all skill levels. Please contact Marie McConnell to learn more. mcconnell_jm@msn.com
